Call for Stories

This is an open call for personal stories in the following themes:*

PLOT TWIST

If you've ever been interested in sharing a story for the main stage, here is your opportunity. Send us your full or brief version of your story (at least 2 paragraphs), or record an audio file.

Email it to hamptonhouseevents@gmail.com with "Story" as the subject. In the body of the message, please indicate your name and the theme that fits your story best. *If you have an amazing, must-tell story that does NOT fit any of these themes please send for consideration.

Final stories are 6 - 8 minutes long. If your story is selected you'll be paired with a coach to make your story the best it can be. We also have a rehearsal before the event so you can tell your story in front of our coaches and the other storytellers. We are here to support you!

We select 5 stories/month. If selected we will reach out with the venue, location and time, along with the rehearsal date.

1. Is there a submission fee? No

2. Can I send a story, but not perform it? We are turning this into an entertaining evening, and to keep the authenticity of the stories, we ask that the person who had the experience perform the story.

3. What if I can't make the rehearsal date? We will work around your schedule.
